What's the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?

An elopement is often just the two of you (plus me and two witnesses). A micro wedding, sometimes called a modern elopement, includes a handful of your favourite people.

Do we need witnesses for an elopement?

Yes, two witnesses are required by law. No guests coming? I can help organise witnesses on the day.

Can you help us organise an elopement package?

Yes! I can arrange all-in-one elopement packages, from photographer and florals to hair and makeup, and did someone mention cake! A simple, stress-free way to say 'I do' in Tasmania.

How far in advance should we book our celebrant?

As soon as you've picked your date. Tassie's peak months book fast, so it's smart to lock me in early. I'd hate to miss out on marrying you!

Who walks down the aisle first and can we both make an entrance?

Traditionally, the wedding party goes first. But there are no rules! You can walk in together, each have your own moment, or flip the order completely.

Can we write our own vows?

Absolutely. I'll guide you with examples if you'd like, but your vows should sound like you - heartfelt, fun, or a mix of both.

Do we have to make a traditional aisle entry?

Not at all! Walk in together, make separate entrances, or skip the aisle completely. Do whatever feels right for you.

Can we include traditions or personal touches?

Absolutely! From cultural rituals to modern twists, I love weaving in what matters to you. And just quietly, I do love a good handfasting ritual!
