Frequently Asked Questions about Planning a Tasmanian Wedding

  • Most of my ceremonies run 15–20 minutes….. just enough to share your story, exchange vows, and celebrate without it dragging on.

  • Not at all! Walk in together, make separate entrances, or skip the aisle completely. Do whatever feels right for you.

  • Traditionally there are “sides”… but honestly, mix it up. Stand where you feel comfy, let guests sit wherever, and in Tassie….. one of you is probably going to cop the sun in your eyes anyway (haha!).

  • Traditionally, the wedding party goes first. But there are no rules! You can walk in together, each have your own moment, or flip the order completely.

  • Absolutely. I’ll guide you with examples if you’d like, but your vows should sound like you….. heartfelt, fun, or a mix of both.

  • As soon as you’ve picked your date. Tassie’s peak months book fast, so it’s smart to lock me in early….. I’d hate to miss out on marrying you!

  • Absolutely! From cultural rituals to modern twists, I love weaving in what matters to you. And just quietly, I do love a good handfasting ritual!
