Operating out of Hobart/nipaluna as a Marriage Celebrant, I offer a variety of additional personal services, which include, after party MC and Funeral/Memorial officiant where YOU + I will collaborate… celebrating and honouring life.
I love meeting people and I absolutely love a good belly laugh along with a glass of sparkling!
I’m LGBTIQA+, warm, open, relaxed, personable, friendly, a great listener and a massive hugger.

What I do…
Confession Time!
I’ve spent the latter part of my life in Hobart Tasmania but was born in Liverpool England. YES, I have something in common with the Beetles! Not that I can sing or write songs (unfortunately) but apparently, I am good with the old microphone and a genuine and captivating storyteller.
As I always say to my hubby of 30 years, my two children (now adult men) and both their long-term partners……………love and HUGS are the best things in life!
My Aim
I know it’s a cliché, but I love life and all it has to offer, and as a celebrant, I get to share the hi’s and lo’s in people’s lives as we get up close and personal, which can be an incredibly uplifting and fulfilling experience, for us both.
I now have the luxury and opportunity to “get my creative on” by bringing my own unique style to the ceremonies I officiate. Whether it’s a wedding or a funeral/memorial service, I craft something beautiful, unique and personalised for all my clients.
Why Did I Become a Celebrant
Over time I’ve come to realise people feel safe in my company, and now as a full-time celebrant in Hobart, I get to be a part of a special and important moment in people’s lives.
After a lifetime working in the corporate playground, I now have the luxury of being independent and am able to work intimately with my clients. I love how I work independently and make my own decisions about how I want to run my business, meaning there's plenty of room for growth and expansion in my role as a celebrant.
Having been married in Hobart Tasmania myself, my own wedding day was one to remember. If I can give someone a wedding and a start to a married life like the one I had (along with all the good vibes and memories) then I consider it (for me)………….. a job well done!
I’ve also sat through many different ceremonies, and services and thought “Oh my goodness, I could do this” and because I like to walk the talk that’s exactly what I’ve done!
